Former Boston Bruins scout passes away at 58

Andrew Shaw, a longtime NHL scout passed away Friday at his home in Sarnia, Ontario.
Shaw also previously worked as a billet for the OHL, housing multiple players who would go onto have NHL careers. Shaw was 58-years-old at the time of his passing.
Shaw's scouting career started in 1994 in the OHL, and he made his way to the NHL by 2000 with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Shaw was a scout for the Boston Bruins from 2015 to 2017 before moving to the Edmonton Oilers for the past four years.
During his time as an OHL billet, Shaw most notably housed now NHLers
Steven Stamkos and
Connor Murphy. Since the announcement of Shaw's passing, Stamkos took to Twitter to share the following message:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Shaw Family and anyone impacted by this loss.
