The Boston Bruins' play-by-play commentator Jack Edwards is known for his enthusiastic calls and for probably being one of the more biased sportscasters around the National Hockey League.
I came across this video on Twitter, and it just reminded me of how many crazy calls that Edwards has had over the years, and being a Bruins fan makes them a lot more bearable. I love Jack's enthusiasm, but I can see why he gets a lot of hate from other fans bases.
In the end, Edwards is just doing his job. He works for NESN and the Boston Bruins, and you know he's going to be more biased towards them. Jack Edwards started calling Boston Bruins games during the 2005–06 NHL season for NESN, handling the road games, while Dale Arnold covered the home games. At the start of the 2007–08 NHL season, Edwards began calling all Bruins games and has been the team's local play-by-play commentator since then. He also received a 2011 Stanley Cup Championship ring.
Here's a compilation of all of Jack Edward's most biased calls of the year, and some of them are pretty hilarious!
