If you ask any fanbase, who the best in the NHL is, their going to say that they are. We all know that's not always the truth though.
Of course, you have your Florida Panthers or Arizona Coyotes fans who only show up when the teams good. Which is fair in a sense, but also means they're not true hockey fans.
Thanks to NHL Collection on Instagram, we can get an idea of where each fanbase ranks in terms of tiers.
Tier one includes 5 of the Original 6 teams, because teams with a history like theirs, is always going to have loyal fans.
Personally, we would put a couple other Canadian teams like the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers up their in terms of loyalty. They seem like two teams that sell out arenas no matter how good the team is doing, but obviously have a lesser market value.
Do you agree with this ranking?
