The Boston Bruins are in desperate need of help for their top six and defensive unit.
We've heard some names thrown around but it sounds like general manager Don Sweeney might have found a serious target.
According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Bruins have recently had trade talks with the Vancouver Canucks regarding forward JT Miller.
Miller currently has one year left on his deal which carries a $5.25million AAV and has registered 39 points in 39 games so far this season which includes 12 goals.
It's been made clear by various insiders that Miller isn't part of the Canucks' plans moving forwards.
Not only would this present a perfect opportunity for the B's to get some top six help, but it would also give the B's a chance to move Jake DeBrusk as he's been attached to the Canucks in some trade rumors.
Unfortunately for the B's, they aren't the only team in on Miller as Seravalli mentions both the Minnesota Wild and Calgary Flames as other teams seriously interested in Miller.
Do you think Miller would be a perfect fit for the B's?
