The Gretzky trade tree has FINALLY ended

Crazy how long one trade can affect the NHL for many years.
Wayne Gretzky was traded to the Los Angeles Kings on August 9th, 1988 (35 years ago), in probably the biggest trade in NHL history.
And surprisingly, with Nelson Nogier and Drake Ryshma officially becoming free agents, the trade tree has finally ended.
