A high-energy guy with a fighter's mentality, no one was more fitted to get the Bruins fired up that day!
Connor McGregor is known for his epic trash-talking. But when he visited the Bruins before a game at TD Garden for St-Patrick's Day back in 2019, the UFC champ sounded more like a motivational speaker than anything else.
On such an Irish-themed day, it felt right for the B's to bring in the Dublin, Ireland native to fire up the boys!
Say what you want about the man, but his pre-game speech was pretty unreal.
"Remember, nothing heroic gets done without support, without unity. We must back each other. We must support each other.
Before you go out, look left and look right. Know that these people that are with you are your brothers. These are the people that you need to fight for. Fight until victory.
Boys, I wish you the best. Let's go Boston Bruins!"
That message was, well, Boston... strong!
