Video from this past season shows Marchand isn't such a bad guy after all

Brad Marchand is one of the most hated players in the entire NHL.
But there's an old saying that says that if everyone hates you, then you must be doing something right! Marchand must be excelling at everything...
Other teams and their fans love to show their hate for #63, but anyone who knows Marchand personally will tell you that he's a straight-up gentleman.
Despite his wires crossing on the ice sometimes...
Sure, there are some shenanigans that go down here and there, but Marchand has still shown a softer side - and even some sportsmanship - when the time is right.
That's exactly what happened when the Bruins took on the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2021-22 season. Jumping in the play off the draw, Marchand was tied up by Alex Killorn and rushed into the play with his opponent's stick still stuck on him.
But rather than just shrugging off the twig, Marchy turned around and literally threw it back at Killorn! Let's just say that a few years ago... Marchand would never have done such a thing.
