After being traded to the Florida Panthers during the NHL trade deadline, Brad Marchand is once again a Stanley Cup Champion.
The Florida Panthers were dominate the throughout their entire playoff run, and it was clear that not many teams even stood a chance, especially after picking up Brad Marchand.
The Boston Bruins decided to move on from their captain, Brad Marchand at the trade deadline.
Later it was revealed that he ended up requesting a trade to the Panthers because he felt they had the best odds at winning the Stanley Cup, and they did just that.
Well that indeed was the case, as the Florida Panthers ended up defeating the Edmonton Oilers in 6 games, becoming back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions.

This is definitely going to be a tough pill to swallow for Boston Bruins fans, but Marchand deserves it.
