Rumor: Boston Bruins and New York Islanders combine for a trade ahead of the NHL Draft

There is less than a week to go before the NHL hosts the Entry Level Draft, and rumors are starting to heat up around the league.
One big rumor that has been going around the league a lot recently is between the Boston Bruins and New York Islanders.
It has been reported that the Islanders are trying to get another top 10 first-round pick to draft Long Island native James Hagens, along with Matthew Schaefer.
General Manager Mathieu Darche will have to get creative, as top 10 picks are rarely ever traded.
Trade brewing between the Bruins and Islanders
Recently, the Boston Bruins made it known that they are open to trading their 7th overall pick, in exchange for a player that would make an immediate impact.
James Murphy and Stefan Rosney or RG Media stated that the Bruins and Islanders are in the middle of trade talks that could turn into a blockbuster ahead of the draft.
One source informed them: «That's not a surprise, but considering where some people are saying [James] Hagens has fallen to, the Islanders and Bruins make a lot of sense there.»
«Based on what I'm hearing, their goal is to move up into the top five. But if they can't do that, with the drop-off after the top five, they would like to use the seventh overall pick in a trade package that could get them a player for their lineup now,» an NHL source told RG last week.

The Bruins 7th overall pick has been talked about, and it was revealed that Noah Dobson, Alexander Romanov, and Jean-Gabriel Pageau have also been talked about:
«They would need one of their current top-six forwards or top-four defensemen in a package for that top pick,» the aforementioned source said.
If the Islanders are going to part ways with one of the top defenseman in the league in Dobson, it's believed that the Bruins are going to have to put together a package for him, and the 7th overall pick alone will not do it.
