The AHL has announced its verdict on a dangerous hit from Adam Clendening on Bruins prospect Fabian Lysell in game three of the playoffs.
Mark Divver of New England Hockey Journal shared the news:
''3-game suspension for Hartford's Adam Clendening for hit on Fabian Lysell in Game 3.''
Did They Get It Right?
The hit was late, high and it injured Lysell, as he won't be playing in game four either.
The AHL Player Safety Committee released the following statement about the hit:
Clendening received a two-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 28 (supplementary discipline), as well as an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 23.6 for accumulating his second game misconduct in the ''physical fouls'' category this season.
