An unexpected head coach has officially been eliminated from the Boston Bruins coaching search

One of the Bruins' biggest concerns as of right now is finding a new and improved head coach to replace the organization's interim head coach, Joe Sacco, as they fired their previous head coach, Jim Montgomery, early in the 2024/25 NHL season.

For that reason, the Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, has been focused on acquiring a new face to lead the roster, and new insight was revealed that the team has narrowed down their coaching search and is set to take the next step in hiring the organization's new head coach.

Don Sweeney and the front office are working hard in the midst of their search, and it was just revealed that an unexpected head coach candidate has officially been eliminated from the organization's head coach vacancy.

This highly experienced NHL assistant coach has ultimately been removed from the running for the Boston Bruins' coaching position, due to the fact the organization has revealed they are no longer waiting for any coaching candidates within the playoffs.

This is seemingly good news for the organization, due to the fact that Misha Donskov may have plenty of years of assistant coach under his belt, he lacks the experience of head coaching, and that is something the Boston Bruins can't afford in their re-tool.
