Boston Bruins acquire Nikolaj Ehlers through a signing: A major development has surfaced

The Boston Bruins organization is striving to complete their re-build as quickly as possible, and in order to do so, this Original Six franchise needs to ensure they do everything in their power to push for star's who are expected to hit the open market this offseason.

With that being said, according to multiple sources, including insider, Chris Johnston, the Winnipeg Jets' star, Nikolaj Ehlers, is likely to hit the market, as his current contract expires on July 1st.

Ehlers will undoubtedly attract immense attention on the free agency market as this skilled forward could add impeccable talent to team's in need of a strong winger.

However, in addition to Johnston's report, an additional well-known and trusted insider, Elliotte Friedman, also revealed that Ehlers hasn't fully closed the door on the Winnipeg Jets, but is curious to see what offers he receives.
