Boston Bruins Announce Unexpected Roster Transaction With Fabian Lysell

Heading into their game against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Boston Burins were facing some major backlash.

The team was on a three game losing streak, and decided that change needed to happen on the roster, so the Bruins recalled Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.

Joe Sacco revealed that even though Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan were called up, he wasn't making any changes to his lineup for their game vs the Vegas Golden Knights.

Instead he decided to roll out the exact same lineup that has lost three games in a row, and fans were not happy about it.

After the game, Joe Sacco called out his team, but when you roll out the exact same lineup that has not been able to score more then three goals, and haven't really been able to generate scoring opportunities, who is to blame?

An announcement today revealed that the Boston Bruins have completed a roster transaction with Fabian Lysell.

This morning, a Boston Bruins insider, Mark Divver revealed that Fabian Lysell has been returned to Providence by the Bruins.

But he believes that it is a paper transaction, considering that Joe Sacco stated Lysell would play in a game at some point during the road trip.

Only time will tell if this actually was a paper transaction, but if it wasn't then the Bruins management really need to be questioned.
