Earlier this morning it was revealed that the Boston Bruins may be recalling fan favourite Fabian Lysell to the NHL. Well now the Boston Bruins have confirmed a shocking two player roster transaction.
With how the Boston Bruins have been playing in their past three games, it's no surprise that they were going to change something.
It was clear change needed to be made after losing three straight games and being outscored 15-7.
This morning it was reported that Fabian Lysell was not present at the Providence Bruins practice, and there was speculation that the Boston Bruins were going to recall him, and now it's confirmed.

Bruins Confirm Two Player Transaction
Along with Fabian Lysell, the Boston Bruins also announced that defenseman Michael Callahan has been recalled as well.
The Boston Bruins announce that the the team has recalled forward Fabian Lysell and defenseman Michael Callahan from the AHL Providence Bruins.
At the moment it is unsure who, or if anyone got sent back down to the Providence Bruins.
Callahan has been solid for the Bruins this year when he's been in the lineup. He has appeared in 11 games, and has 0 points along with a minus-2 rating on the year, but he has been a solid piece on the back end.
Lysell on the other hand has only played one career game in the NHL with the Boston Bruins back in December before being sent back down to the American Hockey League.
Hopefully the Bruins give him a real opportunity and he can show what he's worth to the organization.
