The Boston Bruins are now facing some major backlash after a recent announcement confirmed that a fan favourite forward who was just recently called up will be a healthy scratch tonight.
Recently the Boston Bruins ended up completing a two-player roster transaction involving fan favourite Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan, but a recent announcement has seen the Bruins facing some backlash.
After the call up happened, Joe Sacco revealed that he isn't sure when Lysell or Callahan will be added into the lineup, and the Bruins are facing some backlash because of this.
Bruins Facing Major Backlash
Heading into their game tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Boston Bruins confirmed that Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan will both not be added into the lineup tonight, and are going to be healthy scratched.
Instead, the Boston Bruins are rolling out the exact same lineup that they have since the NHL trade deadline, and are currently on a three game losing streak.
No lineup changes for the #Bruins tonight in Vegas. Club held an optional skate this morning. Fabian Lysell and Michael Callahan will play on this trip at some point. Jeremy Swayman gets the net.

So they brought Lysell up but are not going to play him? WTF is going on? Have Cam and Don completely lost their minds? What a horrible job they are doing, and their product is unwatchable. Disgusting.

A player like Lysell will play on the trip at some point.
If that's the case he should've stayed in Providence playing tomorrow and Saturday while a veteran like Tyler Pitlick makes the trip as an extra forward.
