Joe Sacco was once again not a fan of the performance his team put on the ice on Thursday night against the Vegas Golden Knights, and he did not hold back during his post game comments.

The Bruins entered their game on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights on a three game losing streak. Recently the Bruins recalled fan favourite Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan, and many believed that they were going to play, especially since the Bruins dropped their previous three games.
Instead the Bruins decided to make no changes to their lineup, and healthy scratch both Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan, and it didn't go so well for them.
The Bruins got the exact same result they had in the previous three games where they had the exact same lineup, as they got outplayed, and lost by a big margin.
Boston dropped their fourth game in a row, and took them until the third period to finally find the back of the net, but it was already too late as Vegas had already scored five goals. The Boston Bruins were once again held below 20 shots.

Joe Sacco Losses It During Post Game Comments

«It's something that we talk about,» Bruins head coach Joe Sacco said, as seen on NESN. «Obviously we over-pass and that's something that has to be fixed, we talk about. You know, playing off the shot, more shot volume. We did it for a while, we had success, but now we're trying to make the cute play, the fancy play all the time. It doesn't work in this league. That's too good of a team. They defend the middle of the ice too well.»

During their four game losing streak, the Bruins have been outscored 20-8, creating scoring opportunities has been a major problem for the Bruins recently. At the beginning of the game, the Bruins were solid defensively, but that fell apart throughout the game as the Golden Knights started to find their rhythm.
«That's a testament to our team and it's our job to combat whatever they bring to us, and I thought we did a good job of that,» Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman said, as seen on NESN. «We just didn't get the results.»

While the Bruins are slumping, Morgan Geekie continues to impress as he scored his 24th goal of the season to end the Golden Knights shutout, but he is still feeling the pressure of the slump that's going on with the team right now.
«I think for sure it's something that weighs on you,» Geekie said, as seen on NESN. « I wouldn't say that's what did us in tonight by any means, but it's frustrating for sure.»

The Boston Bruins have now lost seven of their last 10 games, and have only scored over three goals in a game just one time during their 4-0 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning right after the NHL trade deadline.
