Boston Bruins GM confirms the organization is making another change to the coaching staff

Following an extremely disappointing 2024/25 NHL season, the Boston Bruins immediately made some changes, including replacing their former head coach, Jim Montgomery, for interim head coach, Joe Sacco within the initial months of the season.

Yet, these moves were just the beginning of their turnaround.

As the organization is expected to pursue their re-build head-on this summer, and new insight has unveiled that they are set to make some additional changes within their coaching staff.

Just yesterday, June 10, the Bruins' GM Don Sweeney officially introduced Marco Sturm in as the organization's new head coach to replace interim head coach, Joe Sacco.

However, a recent report has announced that Sturm won't be the only new face within Boston's coaching staff.

This report suggests that assistant coaches; Jay Leach, Chris Kelly, and Bob Essensa are expected to return for the 2025/26 NHL season, yet the organization is still in search for one more assistant coach.

Although it is uncertain who will be the next candidate for this position, fans hope it is someone with experience and knowledge.
