Boston Bruins head coach had some surprising comments regarding Fabian Lysell after the Boston Bruins ended up calling him up from the Providence Bruins yesterday.

There was some speculation that the Boston Bruins were going to be recalling fan favourite Fabian Lysell, as he wasn't present for Providence Bruins morning skate yesterday.

Not long after, the Boston Bruins made a surprising move when they announced a two-player roster transaction.
The move involved both Fabian Lysell, and Michael Callahan both being recalled to the Boston Bruins from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
The Boston Bruins announce that the the team has recalled forward Fabian Lysell and defenseman Michael Callahan from the AHL Providence Bruins.
Now Lysell is going to get another chance in the NHL with the Boston Bruins as he is going to be joining them for their five-game road trip where they will be playing four games out west.
This is Lysell's second time being recalled by the Boston Bruins. The first time was back in Decemeber when he made his long awaited NHL debut.
The Boston Bruins drafted Lysell in the first round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, but has never been given a chance in the NHL.
After the call up, Joe Sacco shocked fans with his comments about Lysell.

«The reports from Providence are all positive as far as his game down there,» interim coach Joe Sacco told reporters. «And not just offensively, but his 200-foot game, his play away from the puck, his his ability to stay on pucks, things that we need to see from some of the young players."
Lysell was taking line rushes with Jakub Lauko and Marat Khusnutdinov, but it's unclear if the Bruins will have him in the lineup on Thursday for their game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
«I think it's it's good that he's getting an opportunity," Sacco said.

Lysell has been good in Providence as he has 11 goals, and 23 assists for 34 points in 51 games before being called up again.
