Boston Bruins head coach revealed why Bruins top player was missing from practice and it's unexpected

The fan-favourite, Elias Lindholm, was seemingly absent from the Boston Bruins practice yesterday morning, March 19th.

Following his absence, many fans and reporters began to speculate an injury, as it is not often a top-forward is unexpectedly missing from a morning practice.

Speculation also grew especially after the organization recalled players from the organization's AHL team, Providence Bruins.

Although nothing has been reported regarding an endured injury by Lindholm, it appeared as though that may have been the case, as many organization's will pursue prospects from their AHL team following an player injury, in order to replace them during their recovery.

However, the Bruins' head coach, Joe Sacco, revealed Elias Lindholm's absence was due to a 'maintenance day'.

This suggests fans can expect this forward's arrival to the team's upcoming practice and game, however, there is no confirmation that this is not more severe than the organization is portraying.
