For the second time in his career, Brad Marchand is once again a Stanley Cup Champion, and commented about his future plans right after winning the Cup.
After the final horn went at the end of the third, Marchand interviewed with TNT reporter Jackie Redmond, and was asked how he felt after winning his 2nd Stanley Cup:
It's incredible, it's a feeling you can't really describe, and seeing the family and everyone up there and everyone who supported me up to this point, words can't put this into reality in how great it feels, such an incredible group.
Everybody wrote us off from the start of the playoffs, they had everybody beating us in every round but we had that fire and we knew we had something special. It's incredible to be a part of this group right now.
He was then asked about the culture, and buy-in from the dressing room:
We talked about it before the game, it's such an incredible culture and everyone that has come in here, it felt like we've been here longer than a few months. It's a family, guys love each other in this room. You buy into it immediately, and they embrace you. It's incredible.
