Bruins GM Don Sweeney called out for a completed trade and things just got really ugly
The Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, has just recently been called out regarding the organization's newest trade, and it's shocking.
General manager, Don Sweeney, has quickly kicked off his offseason re-tooling for the Boston Bruins organization which started off with their new and improved head coach, Marco Sturm.
With a new bench boss in
Boston, there are still several pieces missing to complete Sweeney's true re-tooling plans.
And that is acquiring players this summer, whether that is through July 1st free agency or via trade with other teams, but a recent announcement just confirmed the re-tooling process has officially begun.
General manager, Don Sweeney, acquired a stud of a prospect from the Chicago Blackhawks' general manager, Kyle Davidson, in a multiply-asset trade that was announced on Friday, June 13.
The trade saw the Boston Bruins acquiring a former 11th overall pick, defenseman,
Victor Soderstrom.
With lack of defensive depth in the
Boston Bruins' prospect pool, many believed this trade would have thickened their future on the blue-line, but now
Sweeney is facing the heat over this recent transaction.

Despite the promise that comes with the Bruins' recent acquisition, Boston's fan-base still won't let Don Sweeney off the hook for his past trade, and there is clearly trust issues within the organization.
