Bruins Official Lines Vs The Nashville Predators
The Boston Bruins are capping off a week of centennial celebrations with a highly-anticipated matchup against the Nashville Predators at TD Garden.
The season commenced with a splendid 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in the presence of the franchise's legendary figures. Additionally, the unveiling of the "All-Centennial" team, which featured two current players,
Brad Marchand and
David Pastrnak, took place on Thursday.
While there are still many centennial festivities to anticipate throughout the season, the lead-up to Saturday's game signifies a return to the typical rhythm for the Black and Gold.
Defenseman Matt Grzelcyk shared his perspective on the season opener, stating, "There's obviously a lot to play for there. But we have another tough opponent that is playing pretty well to start the year, so we're going to have our hands full."
The Nashville Predators arrive on Saturday having already competed in two games. They initially faced a loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in their season opener on Tuesday but rebounded impressively with a shutout win over the Seattle Kraken in their home opener on Thursday.
In the quest to secure a second consecutive win and kickstart the season with momentum, the Bruins will entrust
Jeremy Swayman with the goaltending duties before enjoying a well-deserved four-day break.
Puck drop for the Boston-Nashville matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, with full coverage available on NESN starting at 6 p.m.
Here are the projected lines and pairings for both teams:
