Florida Panthers Head Coach Issued A Major Announcement Regarding Ex-Boston Bruins Captain Brad Marchand

Brad Marchand is really, really close to making his Florida Panthers debut, and Panthers head coach Paul Maurice just confirmed it, and may have revealed when it will actually happen in an announcement today.
The Boston Bruins shocked fans at the NHL trade deadline whenever they ended up trading Brandon Carlo in a last minute trade close to the deadline.
What they didn't expect was for Don Sweeney to also send his captain packing, but it happened.
Just three minutes before the 3 p.m. ET deadline, it was announced that the Boston Bruins traded Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a conditional first-round pick.
Fans were furious with the return the Boston Bruins got for their captain who is still producing at an elite level, but Marchand being injured, and requesting to go to the Florida Panthers played a big part in the return the Bruins got.
Many have been wondering when Marchand will be making his debut with the organization, and Paul Maurice may have just revealed it today.
Maurice Reveals When Marchand Will Make His Debut
Today, in an announcement, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice stated that Marchand is super close to returning to the NHL and making his debut for the Florida Panthers.
Maurice stated that the Panthers are looking to get Marchand in their lineup for their game on Friday against Utah.

It's still going to be hard for Boston Bruins fans to get use to seeing Marchand rocking a Panthers jersey.
If he does play in their game on Friday he will have 11 games to build some chemistry with his new teammates before they go on another run for the Stanley Cup.
