Boston Bruins top defenseman has finally broke the silence on the moves the Boston Bruins decided to make at the NHL trade deadline as he met with the media for the first time yesterday since being injured at the 4 Nations and it's ugly.

McAvoy was seriously injured during the 4 Nations face-off tournament back in February.
The Bruins head physician Dr. Peter Asnis revealed that McAvoy suffered a right should acromicolavicular joint during Team USA's first game of the 4 Nations, and it lead to him having an infection, here is what Peter Asnis said about it:
"Upon returning to Boston, he developed increasing pain, for which he was evaluated by the Boston Bruins' medical staff. After undergoing x-rays, MRIs, and bloodwork, he was diagnosed as having an infection in his right shoulder, as well as a significant injury to his AC joint.

He underwent an irrigation and debridement procedure at Massachusetts General Hospital on February 18. He remains in the hospital, where he is being treated with IV antibiotics, and his condition is improving."

Yestrday, McAvoy met with the media for the first time, and finally spoke out on the moves Don Sweeney made at the NHL Trade Deadline.

McAvoy Speaks Out On The NHL Trade Deadline

Leading up to the NHL trade deadline, it was clear that the Bruins were not going to make the NHL playoffs this year, and Don Sweeney decided to be sellers this year, but no one expected him to trade the players he did.
Many believed that there were going to be a couple of big moves made, but the Bruins shocked fans when they also traded Brandon Carlo, and Brad Marchand right before the deadline came to a close.
The Bruins also ended up trading Charlie Coyle, Trent Frederic, and Justin Brazeau, and now McAvoy has spoken out on it.

McAvoy continued;

«other spots. Like I said, I understand the business of it and it's a problem that everybody goes through. It's not just me but it hurts. All of those guys, you wish nothing but the best for them. They're very easy to cheer for. Every one of them.»
It's clear that McAvoy is not a fan of the moves the Bruins made during the NHL trade deadline, but at the end of the day he realizes that it's a business and things happen sometimes.
