A recent announcement has revealed that Brock Nelson has signed a contract and it is now confirmed for the Boston Bruins.
There was a lot of speculation that Brock Nelson was going to move on from the Colorado Avalanche and test the waters in free agency.
After trading for him during the NHL trade deadline, it seems like the Avalanche did not want to lose him for nothing, and instead pushed to sign him to a contract extension.

We've signed forward Brock Nelson to a three-year contract extension through the 2027-28 season.
David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period revealed some contract details on the signing.
Brock Nelsons new contract is a three-year deal, with an average annual value of $7.5 million or $22.5 million in total.

Leading up to the NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins were heavily linked to Brock Nelson.
Well now it looks like that's a player the Bruins can take off of their list as he is staying with the Avalanche.
