A recent announcement has revealed that Brock Nelson has signed a contract and it is now confirmed for the Boston Bruins.
There was a lot of speculation that Brock Nelson was going to move on from the Colorado Avalanche and test the waters in free agency.
After trading for him during the NHL trade deadline, it seems like the Avalanche did not want to lose him for nothing, and instead pushed to sign him to a contract extension.
Today, the Colorado Avalanche announced that Brock Nelson has signed a three-year contract extension that runs through the 2027-28 season.

Bruins Had Interest
Leading up to the NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins were heavily linked to Brock Nelson.
Even with the latest reports about him possibly leaving Colorado, the Bruins were linked to the veteran forward as they are hurting for centers.
Well now it looks like that's a player the Bruins can take off of their list as he is staying with the Avalanche.
