Trade talks are heating up regarding Bruins' net-minder, Jeremy Swayman, as Boston is looking to make some huge moves in the offseason.
Jeremy Swayman's name has unexpectedly been looming around the rumour mill as of late, due to his extremely underwhelming season.
This net-minder has struggled to find consistency within the Bruins organization, and with Boston's ugly 2024/25 NHL season, the team may need to consider some significant changes, and new insight has hinted that this Original Six team may just pull the plug on their starting goaltender.
An NHL insider, Elliotte Friedman, not only speculated that teams within the league may inquire about Jeremy Swayman's availability, but hinted that the Bruins might just need to explore moving Swayman prior to his no-movement clause, which begins in the 2026/26 season.

Not only could a new and improved net-minder help Boston secure a postseason spot for the 2025/26 playoffs, this could also work in Joonas Korpisalo's favour.
The Boston Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo voiced his frustrations with the media during his exit interview at the end of this year's regular season, revealing that he wants more time ice.
"I don't think there's any goalie in the league who's comfortable playing 20-25 games," Korpisalo said. "I'm gonna push for more games, for sure."
If Jeremy Swayman departs from Boston this offseason, Korpisalo may just receive the additional ice time he's looking for, plus the Boston Bruins could open the door to a new and improved net-minder to take the organization to new extremes.
