NHL Insider Officially Revealed Who The Boston Bruins Are Going Replace Brad Marchand With In The Off-Season

The team is currently in a buyers market, as evidence by trading many of their veterans over the span of the 2024/25 Trade Deadline, it is now time to dissect which players will fit best in the organization in order to move upwards towards a new and improved team, and we have some insight on what their next steps suggested will be.

As free agency is quickly approaching, just a few months away, an NHL insider revealed an available player who may just fit the part to take over Marchand's legacy.

The 28-year old would bring the kind of grit and two-way intensity that the former captain, Marchand, always provided.

And with the Boston's general manager, Don Sweeney, having acquired a hefty amount in cap space, $30 million, although he'll have some of his own RFAs to resign, he has given himself plenty of room to play with, so the ability to acquire Bennett is more than possible.

While it is suggested the Bruins are set to target Bennett if he is available this summer, the team is in dire need to find strong competitors to transform the Stanley Cup winning team back to its routes.
