Patrice Bergeron Reveals His True Colours Towards Brad Marchand And The Florida Panthers and it's shocking

Former Boston Bruins captain and legend Patrice Bergeron just revealed his true colours towards Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers and it's kind of surprising.
Bergeron surprised a lot of people whenever he revealed who he was going for during the Stanley Cup Finals between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers.
Although was never a member of any of the teams in the finals, Bergeron revealed that he is rooting for his longtime friend and former teammate Brad Marchand.
Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron were teammates for 14 seasons together, and won a Stanley Cup together in 2011. They went on to appear in two other finals in 2013 and 2019 but came up short. Now he is watching his best friend, who is just two wins away from winning another Stanley Cup.
Patrice Bergeron Reveals Who he Is Rooting For In The Finals
It's should come as no surprise to anyone that Patrice Bergeron is rooting for one of his best friends to win another Stanley Cup. But it is surprising considering the hate the Bruins and Panthers have for each other.
«I'm really cheering for Brad because people are saying, 'Are you cheering for Florida or anything?' I'm like, 'I'm cheering for Brad,'» Bergeron said on NESN's «Unobstructed Views» on Monday night. «I just want him to get it. He deserves it. I've been impressed with the way he's been playing throughout these playoffs. He's been an amazing addition. He's one of the reasons why they're in the finals with his play and the way he's been carrying the team.»
All throughout the playoffs, Marchand has looked like his vintage self with the Florida Panthers, and has been playing a big role in all of their success up until this point.
Marchand has eight goals, 10 assists in 20 games played for the Florida Panthers during the playoffs so far, with four of those goals coming in the Finals. He just knows how to live up to the hype when it matters most.
Bergeron did admit that it's still weird to Marchand with the Boston Bruins, especially after the rivalry they have had over the past couple of years, but he wants to see Marchy win another Cup.
«It's been an adjustment for me and my family to cheer for that team, but it's for good reasons,» Bergeron said. «And I wish him and the Panthers obviously all the best because I want him to get it.»
