The Boston Bruins as a complete team have just been horrible this season, and Jeremy Swayman has not helped them. Now a new report has come out, revealing the Boston Bruins could be shopping Jeremy Swayman in the off-season.

Jeremy Swayman held out of all of the Bruins training camp, and pre-season games as he was trying to negotiate himself a contract with the organization.
Finally the two sides were able to come to an agreement on a contract just two days before the NHL regular season started. The Boston Bruins announced they signed Swayman to a massive 8-year, $8.25 million contract, and it's been downhill ever since.
At first, many believed that Swayman wasn't playing to his abilities early in the year because he missed training camp and the pre-season games, but we are now 72 games into the season, and Swayman has started 51 of those games, and he hasn't looked any better.

Boston Bruins To Shop Swayman In The Off-Season?

Swayman has a record of 20-25-6 this year, and his last four starts might be the cherry on top for the Bruins to look to move him in the off-season.
He has not proved that he can be a number one goaltender for the Boston Bruins moving forward, and in his last 4 starts he is 0-4-0 with a .815 SV%, and a 6.00 GAA. Slumps happen for everyone, but Swayman has been in one all year, and doesn't show any signs that he is going to come out of it anytime soon.

Adding to the fire, recently a Boston Bruins teammate may have revealed that Jeremy Swayman has become a problem in the Boston Bruins locker room.
Zadorov's response when asked if he appreciated Swayman sticking up for his teammates in their previous game, indicated that Swayman may be a problem in the locker room.
Take a look:
If the Boston Bruins do decide to move on from Jeremy Swayman in the off-season, their have some pretty talented goaltenders in the AHL that are knocking on the door, and with the Bruins re-tooling, this may be the right move the organization needs to make.
