The Boston Bruins are at risk of losing a trophy-winning goaltender in free agency this off-season following a major turn of events for the organization

After losing goaltender Linus Ullmark when they ultimately decided to cut ties with him and deem goaltender Jeremy Swayman as their number-one net minder.
But following a recent revelation within the Boston Bruins' organization, they now face another tough decision in goal.
The Bruins have managed to find a diamond in the rough in goal and he is ready for a full-time NHL position.
Goaltender Michael DiPietro has emerged as the number one goaltender in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins, and is putting Jeremy Swayman's numbers to shame.
While the NHL and AHL are separate calibres of play, some deem the American Hockey League a much harder environment to handle as a goaltender.

Bruins to part ways with Korpisalo?

Fresh faces are needing in the Bruins organization following a cluster of trades from GM Don Sweeney, and DiPietro could be Jeremy Swayman's backbone.
I really hope the Bruins can hold onto him this off-season. nothing against Korpisalo, he's done his job, just would rather use the money elsewhere.

DiPietro's stat line speaks for itself

A very solidified resume in his breakout season could lead to a jump from the AHL to NHL.
AHL Leader in Save Percentage (0.929)
AHL Leader in GAA (2.02)
AHL Leader in Wins (23)
2nd (tied) in AHL in Shutouts (4)

Or general manager Don Sweeney may opt out on another golden opportunity, letting the goaltender who's found his groove test the free agent market.
If you were in the shoes of GM Don Sweeney, how would you manage this current situation involving goaltender Michael DiPietro?
