The NHL Just Issued A Major Announcement Regarding Boston Bruins Star David Pastrnak

As the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs are gearing up to faceoff against each other tonight, the NHL issued a major announcement regarding Bruins star David Pastrnak.

This is going to be the third time David Pastrnak and William Nylander faceoff against each other since they were both featured on "Faceoff: Inside the NHL" on Prime, and the NHL recognized David Pastrnak for having the most career points against the Toronto Maple Leafs then he does against any other franchise in the NHL.

During his 11-year NHL career David Pastrnak has scored 62 points in 51 meetings against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team he has scored on the second most is the Tampa Bay Lightning where he has 50 points in 46 games.

One of his most notable goals he scored against the Toronto Maple Leafs was last year in game 7 of the first-round in the playoffs, when David Pastrnak scored the overtime game winning goal to send the Bruins to the second-round.

This year has been a struggle for the Czech forward as he is on pace to score a career low 30 goals, after scoring a career high 62 goals just two years ago.

This season, David Pastrnak has 13 goals, 25 assists for 38 points in 40 games for the Boston Bruins and is a minus-3 on the season.

If the Bruins want to make it far in the playoffs this year, David Pastrnak is someone they are going to need to get going for them, and soon!
