A recent announcement by NHL insider, Elliotte Friedman, has unveiled that the Toronto Maple Leafs ultimately stole a forward from the Boston Bruins.

The Boston Bruins have been working hard at pursuing the organization's on-going re-tool, and in order for the team to become bigger competitors for the 2025/26 NHL season, general manager, Don Sweeney, and the front office are desperate need to acquire new skilled talent.
And new insight has unveiled that the Boston Bruins had their eyes on a 24-year old forward this free agency, in hopes to move forward in their re-build, yet, this forward was ultimately stolen from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

However, new insight by an NHL insider has surfaced, revealing that the Boston Bruins were interested in acquiring his forward.
