Tragedy Strikes The Hockey Community As A 18-Year-Old Goaltender Sadly Passes Away

Once again, the hockey community is mourning another tragic loss to yet another young hockey player that has been taken away from us way too soon, as it was revealed that Danielle Munson has tragically passed away at the age of 18-years-old.
Over the past weekend, some unfortunate news was revealed on Facebook regarding a goaltender of the U18A Rebels Black in Regina, and it revealed that she unfortunately lost her life.
Munson looked to have a bright future ahead of her as she had a very impressive record this season going 13-2-1 with two shutouts.
Hockey Regina, which is the Minor Hockey Association Munson was playing for made a post on Facebook to share their condolences towards her family as they head through this tough time.

Danielle was loved in the hockey community, and she is definitely going to be missed.
Not long after the news had surfaced her older sister, Serena Munson made a heartbreaking post to honour Danielle:
«My dearest Danielle, you were a beautiful girl who was so intelligent, fun to be around and had the kindest soul, everyone loved you so much. You will forever be my best friend, I will miss our last minute car rides to 7/11, I will miss coming into your room and telling you about my day, I will miss seeing your face after a long day. I will miss you everyday. Life won't be the same without you baby sis You are loved by your friends and family may your beautiful soul rest in peace, I love you my Angel»
This is such a tragedy, no one ever deserves to lose their life at this age, and everyone at Bruins Insider is sending their thoughts and prayers to Munson's family, friends, and teammates who are effected by this heartbreaking news.
