The Boston Bruins walked away with a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senator in their home opener on Monday afternoon.

First line center Patrice Bergeron led the way with a hat trick, and while the team's first two lines center situation is solid thanks to Bergeron and David Krejci, huge question marks remain on the third line.

The offseason departure of Riley Nash has left a big hole, and with David Backes being moved into the role recently, it's clear they'd prefer Backes somewhere else in the lineup.

Jack Studnicka, Trent Frederic and Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson are still too young for the role and Sean Kuraly is more suited for the fourth line.

Bruins general manager Don Sweeney will need to address the position soon and a trade will likely land better quality then surfing the waiver wire will.

We can expect to see Sweeney pull something off sooner than later.
