Grzelcyk Praises Brad Marchand Regarding Amazing Night.
The Boston Bruins are finding their game and it's coming at a very important time as they play some of the tough teams across the league.
Big wins against the Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals over the last couple of days.
Last night's 7-3 win against the Capitals was definitely a statement game.
Defenseman Matt Grzelcyk had the best game of his career as he registered a goal and four assists but he was all about praising Brad Marchand who himself had 2 goals and an assist.
Marchand put up the numbers after he received a vicious high stick from Caps' forward Nic Dowd.
He returned to the bench bloody but ready for war and the rest is history.
"It's unbelievable; you're always amazed, it's something he does every game, he's a world-class player," Grzelcyk said of Marchand. "One of the best in the world for a reason and a big part of that is his compete level. He wants it more than anyone else and he competes extremely hard. It's inspiring for us to watch as a team and he's an unbelievable leader for us."
