Who would've thought, but the players for the Arizona Coyotes are reportedly very unhappy.
Mullett Arena was officially named the home arena for the Coyotes this summer, as the club will share with Arizona State. The Sun Devils, however, will have first rights to any dates as well.
And according to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, not only fans across the league are the only ones embarrassed about the team's situation:
''There are some real rumblings about the boys not being happy down there. Like really upsetting... Even worse (than they were expecting).''
When the arena was announced, it was also mentioned that it would require retrofitting to meet the minimum acceptable levels of an NHL arena. Now it seems those issues are already an issue for players who are used to the lavish locker rooms they've been part of around the league.
With general manager Bill Armstrong being serious about the rebuild and stacking assets and bad contracts, Coyotes fans can at least expect to be disappointed for the next three years in more ways than one.
