Boston Bruins starting goalie Tuukka Rask looks literally unbeatable as of late.
He stopped 25 of 26 shots in Tuesday night's win against the New York Islanders on the day he was named the NHL's First Star of the month of December.
A December which he went 9-0-1 with a goals against average of 1.22 and a .955 save percentage, all as a result of stopping 277 of the 290 shots he faced during the month. He gave up two or fewer goals in 10 of 11 of his December appearances which saw him become the second goalie in Bruins history to earn 40 shutouts in a Bruins uniform.
After a bit of a bumpy road during the start of the season, the Bruins goalie now sits 14-8-3 on the season with a 2.09 goals against average along with a .925 save percentage.
While some questioned whether he should even be starting over Anton Khudobin during some points this season, the 30 year old Rask now looks like the Vezina trophy winning goalie from 2014.
He gets paid some big bucks to play exactly like how he's playing at the moment, so hopefully he rides this wave until the end of the season.
If Rask keeps up his performance do you think he'll bring home another Vezina trophy?
