Milan Lucic is one guy you do not want to mess with, even if you're a former teammate, apparently.
That includes Johnny Gaudreau, who left the Flames when he agreed to a seven-year deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets this past offseason.
For the first time in his career, Gaudreau will be a visitor against in Calgary, and Lucic issued a strong warning.
On the Jesse and JD Podcast, when asked if he would throw a big hit on Gaudreau, Lucic answered as such:
''Of course, it will be like before we were teammates. You look at the team and target their best player.''
The Blue Jackets visit the Flames next Monday, and it will be interesting to see if Looch can follow through.
