Nick Foligno shares admiration for Patrice Bergeron
Patrice Bergeron is one of the best captains in the NHL, but he's not the only one leading the way for the league-leading Bruins.
Boston is rich with veteran presences in the likes of David Krejci, Brad Marchand and perhaps the most underrated, Nick Foligno.
Fliggy or Uncle Nick as they call him, is enjoying a tremendous bounce-back season, as the 35-year-old has already doubled last season's total in four fewer games. Foligno seemed to know who drives the Bruins' bus, as he shared the utmost praise for Bergeron.
Shawn Hutcheon of High End Hockey Advising shared what Foligno said:
''He's the model of consistency in this league. The way he plays on both sides of the puck and gets it done offensively and gets it done even more defensively. He's a guy I've admired for a long time. All of us do.''

Being a veteran himself, Foligno noted that it makes it easier with guys in the same situation like Krejci, Marchand and Bergeron.
He continued:
''It's fun having some of the old guys in here. I think we realize how special and unique this team is being around a long time. This is something we haven't seen before. We're cherishing this. We're not going to let it go to waste.''
The ''Old Guys'' have this 2022-23 Boston Bruins team running on all cylinders right now. As they sit first in the NHL with a 49-8-5 record.
Foligno is currently on the IR due to a lower-body injury he suffered last Tuesday in Calgary. Let's hope he's back to 100% for a big playoff push!
