Hockey players are known as the toughest players in the world; however, sometimes there are acceptions. Case in point, last night for Detroit Red Wings forward Matt Luff.
With the Red Wings leading the game 2-1 in the 3rd period, Matt Luff tried to get in the way of a shot from a member of the Wild. Unfortunately for Luff, the puck slides up his stick and strikes him directly in the face.
Luff didn't return for the rest of the game, and the Red Wings held onto the lead to win 2-1.
