It's trade deadline season in the NHL and that means plenty of chatter regarding what the Boston Bruins might do.
We've heard all the names that the Bruins might bring in, but now it seems the Bruins might look towards a young forward with an expiring contract.
Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now reports that the Bruins are showing interest in Columbus Blue Jackets' forward Josh Anderson.
The 25 year old forward will be RFA after this season and has struggled with injuries.
With Pierre-Luc Dubois and all the team's goalies up for a new contract next year, the team might not be able to keep Anderson around under the salary cap.
Murphy adds that the Blue Jackets are looking for a young prospect and a second round pick in return of Anderson.
Would you make the trade to land the 6'3 222lb winger knowing he's RFA after this season and he won't be lost in free agency?
