The Boston Bruins will be looking to build on their 2017-18 season.
Fighting for the division title and making it to the second round of the playoffs are pretty big accomplishments for a team some didn't even predict to make the playoffs.
So what will the Bruins be looking for during the summer?
A left handed defenseman and some added scoring to help the second line.
Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston put together his list of who he thinks should be the Bruins top targets this summer.
Carolina Hurricanes defenseman
Noah Hanifin, Edmonton Oilers defenseman Oscar Klefbom, Minnesota Wild defenseman
Jonas Brodin and wingers James van Riemsdyk of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Wayne Simmonds of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Out of this list, only James van Riemsdyk will be available through free agency this summer, but he won't be cheap as he's expected to hit a deal worth about $6.5million a season on six or seven years of contract length.
Who from this list do you think would be a good fit for the Bruins?
