This morning, the city of Vancouver woke up to some shocking news, as it was revealed that at least nine citizens have tragically passed away.
It's not fully clear on what happened at the time of this writing, but what was revealed was that a unidentified man ended up driving his vehicle into a crowd of people during Vancouver's Lapu Lapu Day festival.
At this moment, Vancouver police have confirmed that at least nine individuals have lost their lives because of this.

Lapu Lapu Day is held every year and is a day of celebration amoung the Filipino community that honors Cilipino Chieftain Datu Lapu-Lapu.
Lapu Lapu Day is a day of celebration in the Filipino community that honors Filipino Chieftain Datu Lapu-Lapu who is best know for his heroic actions in the Battle of Mactan in 1521, a battle in which he defeated the Spanish forces led by Ferdinand Magellan at the time.
