Brock Boeser at the end of the year stated that he was going to be hitting the free agent market this off-season.
Unfortunately for the Boston Bruins, they did not get the chance too as the canucks ended up calling Boeser, signing him to a deal despite the rumors about him leaving.
Even though Boeser was going to leave the organization, he decided to stay with the Canucks, where he's spent his entire career so far.
Boston Bruins had a contract on the table for Boeser?
According to Darren Dreger of TSN,
Boeser reportedly had 10 different teams presenting him offers on the opening day of free agency.

Although there is no more information on that, or who actually offered him the contracts, Don Sweeney was more then likely one of those.
With the Boston Bruins needing secondary scoring, and still looking for a top-six player to replace Jake DeBrusk, there is a high chance he presented an offer to Boeser.
After signing his new deal, he now has a full no-movement clause for the first four years of his deal that changes to a 15-team no-trade list for the final three years.
