A Heartbreaking Announcement Was Made Moments Before Team USA's Game Involving Bruins Charlie McAvoy

Just moments before team USA's first game at the Four Nations Faceoff, Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy issued a heartbreaking announcement involving the late Johnny Gaudreau.
A couple of months before the NHL season began, it was reported that Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were both killed while riding their bikes.
It was reported that Matthew, and Johnny were both heading home from their sisters wedding rehearsal riding their bikes, when they were struck by a car which ended up killing both of them.

It was later revealed that the driver, Shawn Higgins was driving under the influence when he hit the Gaudreau brothers.
Higgins was arrested and charged, and is currently still going through court at this moment.
The NHL has done multiple different things this season to pay their respects to the Gaudreau brothers, and team USA is doing the same thing.
Team USA is hanging up Gaudreau's jersey in a stall in their locker room for every game.
Charlie McAvoy issues a heartbreaking statement regarding Gaudreau
Just before USA was set to take the ice for their game against Finland, McAvoy issued a statement about how USA is honouring Gaudreau, and that they are going to play for him during this tournament.
We all already know what we're playing for with him and how we want to honor him. We always have him nearby ... and everybody here knows him in one way or another and what he meant to USA Hockey, what he meant to the game of hockey.
