Boston Bruins Analyst Slams General Manager Don Sweeney For Trading Brad Marchand

Boston Bruins analyst Mike Grinnell was not happy with the trade Don Sweeney made involving captain Brad Marchand, and had some harsh words for the Bruins General Manager after the fact.
Last Friday, at the NHL trade deadline, the Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins combined for one of the biggest and unexpected trades, as the defending Stanley Cup Champions acquired Brad Marchand.

Marchand was involved in multiple trade rumours leading up to the point, but many believed they were just rumours and it wasn't going to happen, especially considering he's spent his entire career there and stated multiple times he wanted to play his whole career there.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case at all, and Bruins fans were not happy Marchand ended up being traded, especially considering the horrible return Don Sweeney got.
Mike Grinnell was one of the fans not happy with Sweeney after the trade, and he let him hear it.
Bruins Analyst Calls Out Don Sweeney
Grinnell called out Don Sweeney for 'throwing in the towel' and stated the Boston Bruins are not a better team without Brad Marchand.
"If the Bruins at the deadline signed Brad Marchand, and they went and traded for Brock Nelson and made additions then, yeah, put on the gas pedal. Let's go win this thing. I didn't make this decision. Don Sweeney made the decision to throw in the towel. And any m*ron out there that says the Bruins are better without Brad Marchand, go f*** yourself."
As of now, the Boston Bruins are a worse team without Brad Marchand, but Marchand himself even pointed out that they may be a better team in the future as a result.
Marchand even told Sweeney that he has to make the best decision for the team, and stated he was okay with being traded:
"If we were in the playoffs at the point in time, we'd probably be having a much different conversation, and I know that. It's something we had talked about previously, but we weren't - and at that point, very tough decisions have to be made. And the one thing that I always respect, I told Cam and Sweens this - they have a job to do, and they have to make the best decisions for the team."
