At the deadline, the Boston Bruins made some massive changes, and shipped out a lot of key members, and leaders from their organization including Brandon Carlo, Charlie Coyle, Trent Frederic, Justin Brazeau, and Brad Marchand.

Boston brought in a lot more youth, speed and skill to their lineup after acquiring players like Casey Mittelstadt, Marat Khusnutdinov, Jakub Lauko and multiple prospects, but no bigger name then Fraser Minten.

Since the NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins are 2-1-0. The Tampa Bay Lightning were one of the teams the Bruins beat right after the NHL trade deadline, and the Bruins will be looking to get back into the win column today and look to beat the Lightning for a second time in a week.

Heading into their game, the Bruins announced a controversial goaltending move.

After being pulled in his last meeting against the Ottawa Senators, the Boston Bruins confirmed they will be turning back to Jeremy Swayman in a must-win game.

Swayman was pulled after allowing four goals in the opening period against the Senators on just 15 shots.

Many fans believe that the Boston Bruins are over playing Jeremy Swayman, and should give Joonas Korpisalo more starts.
