A little over a week has past since free agency began in the NHL, and Boston Bruins fans currently have mixed feelings on what Don Sweeney did.
The only long-term signing the Boston Bruins made was enforcer
Tanner Jeannot who was signed to a five-year deal.

The reasoning for the signings he made this year was so that he could eye down some big fish in the 2026 free agency class next year.
It's unclear what to expect from the Boston Bruins this year, but Marco Sturm has a message for both the players and fans ahead of the season.
Sturm sends a message to fans
Sturm spoke with Conor Ryan of Boston.com, and stated that patience is going to be needed by both the players and fans.
"You wish you can fix it overnight, but you can't. So you've got to be patient," Sturm said.
He also spoke on building a foundation, and gave Sweeney along with the rest of the front office some praise for the job they have done.
After being a competitive team for so long, it's understandable on why Bruins fans aren't happy with the moves that were made, but a re-tool is going to take some time.
Obviously the goal is to make the playoffs, but if the Bruins don't do their retool the proper way, they could be in a rebuild for a much longer time.
