Former Boston Bruin Riley Nash retires from the NHL

According to multiple reports, former Boston Bruins forward Riley Nash has called it a career from the NHL.
He ended up speaking with Castanet Kamloops' Tyler Lowey when he announced he was retiring from professional hockey:
"It's official - I'm retiring," Nash said to Lowey. "It is definitely something weird to say and it hasn't really sunk in yet, even though I basically had all of last year away from the rink, but this year will still be weird. This is all I've done and focused on for the past 30 years, but now is the time to end this chapter or book and look at what's next."

Unfortunately due to a knee injury, Nash ended up missing the entire 2024-25, and instead of making a comeback, he is calling it a career.
Nash ended up playing his final NHL game with the New York Rangers during the 2023-24 season here he appeared in just one game recording a shot on goal and one hit.
During his career, he played for the Boston Bruins during the 2016-17 season, until the 2017-18 season appearing in 157 games.
During those 157 games, Nash ended up scoring 22 goals, and 36 assists for 58 points while being a plus-15.
Enjoy retirement, Riley!
