Bruins 6'4 Beast Nearly Ready To Take On The NHL
Another standout among Boston's top prospects is Mason Lohrei, who had a productive week while sharing the ice with experienced defenseman Brandon Carlo.
Following a challenging weekend at the prospect challenge, Lohrei opted for a simplified approach in his defensive play and showed improved decision-making during breakouts. His agility on the blue line and powerful strides make his future prospects quite exciting.
Similar to Lysell, I believe Lohrei could benefit from starting the season in Providence, allowing him to acclimate to the pace of the professional game. However, between the two, Lohrei appears closer to NHL readiness and could potentially secure a spot on the roster midway through the season.
